Velizy-Pêche

Vélizy-Pêche is a non-political fishing association based in the Versailles area, carrying forward a local angling tradition that began in 1935 with an organization known as “La Touche.” The association shares information and resources for fishing enthusiasts and maintains a connection with the ponds and natural surroundings of the Meudon state forest. Its website introduces the association, its history, statutes, internal rules and fishing regulations, and provides information about the Étang d’Ursine and Étang des Écrevisses.

Members and visitors can explore galleries covering several angling disciplines, including carp fishing, lure fishing and English-style coarse fishing, alongside nature photography. The association also publishes regular newsletters and news updates, and offers practical details such as pond locations, fishing permits and prices, restocking by season, and guidance from the fishing warden. Additional resources include information on annual meetings, partners and supporters, as well as travel journals from Spain, Finistère and Japan.
