Vélo Canada Bikes, founded in 2012, is a national non-profit organization dedicated to creating a bicycle-friendly Canada. As the authoritative voice and organizing body for cycling advocacy, we work at the federal level to collaborate with governments, industries, academia, and social sector organizations to improve cycling infrastructure and ridership across the country. Our mission is to build a bicycle-friendly Canada that promotes cycling as a practical mode of transportation and recreation for people of all ages and abilities.

We strive to make cycling safe and accessible for all journeys. By mobilizing knowledge, fostering collaboration, and driving change, we champion the numerous benefits of cycling, including health, environmental sustainability, economic growth, and social equity.
