Velolab GmbH

Velolab GmbH is a Swiss custom bicycle brand founded by Bruno Menzi, built around personal service and bikes tailored to each rider. Rather than offering standard, off-the-shelf setups, Velolab helps customers choose and configure a bike to match their preferences, from frame and handlebars to saddle and wheels. Its range includes four models: the lightweight, agile KOM for climbing; the speed-focused Aero for fast riding on flatter terrain; the versatile Gravel for rough roads and trails; and the TTT, designed for time trials and triathlon. Velolab says its own bike brand has UCI approval, and customers can arrange test rides on available models and sizes.

The process starts with a free one-to-one consultation, followed by a complimentary, non-binding bike visualization and an individual quote. Once the design is approved, the bike is assembled with quality components and precise workmanship; the company estimates a build time of around six weeks. Custom bikes are assembled locally and start at CHF 3,000.
