Veluweruiters

Paardensportvereniging Veluweruiters is an equestrian association based in Voorthuizen, the Netherlands. Established in 1959, it welcomes dressage and show-jumping riders with horses and ponies, including participants at different levels. Members can take part in scheduled instruction, with dedicated lesson groups for pony riders. For dressage and jumping members, the membership includes two lessons per week, with options to focus on one discipline or combine both. The association also offers a start-pass membership for non-riding members in dressage, jumping and driving.

Veluweruiters hosts a varied programme of equestrian activities throughout the year. Its annual Wilde Varken competition takes place in October, alongside regular competitions, dressage clinics, pony camp and practice jumping. The association’s facilities at Hunnenweg include two indoor riding arenas, measuring 20 by 40 metres and 20 by 60 metres, an outdoor arena measuring 20 by 60 metres, and a club canteen. With instruction, events and facilities for riders and pony enthusiasts, Veluweruiters provides a community setting for pursuing equestrian sport.
