Velvet Ashes is an online community designed for women serving overseas. It provides a unique space for women who have uprooted their lives and found themselves re-rooting in foreign soil. As a community, we understand the pain of goodbyes, the challenges of change, and the process of self-discovery.

We know the deep longing in our souls to be known and to know that we are not alone. Together, we create a deep and rich sense of community, where we can laugh, cry, and share our stories. Velvet Ashes serves as a gathering place, a sanctuary where we can find belonging and connect with others who share our experiences.

Here, hearts are opened, and stories flow freely. We offer mentorship from those who have learned to thrive in this life, providing wisdom and hope in abundance. We link arms with one another, holding onto the promise of a full and fulfilling life in seemingly empty places.

The name Velvet Ashes is inspired by the Velvet Ash tree, which thrives in the desert. Like this tree, we learn to adapt and grow in extreme environments. Our scars, like those on the tree, become uniquely beautiful, reminding us of the joy that can always be found.

Velvet Ashes invites us to bring our brokenness to Him, who brings beauty from ashes. Join our community and experience the richness of connection and support that Velvet Ashes offers
