Vendée Qualité

Vendée Qualité is a multi-product defence and management organisation (ODG) that brings together food-sector stakeholders across the Vendée region of France. Its mission is to defend and promote the quality of local products, supporting producers and other participants who share a commitment to excellence. The organisation works with the region’s agricultural and gastronomic sectors, reflecting the contributions of farmers, livestock breeders, market gardeners, fishers and cooks, alongside local innovation.

Vendée Qualité helps its members offer products that meet rigorous specifications and qualify for official signs of quality and origin. The organisation highlights six national and European quality signs, which recognise characteristics such as authenticity, tradition, superior quality and production conditions that respect animal welfare and the environment. Its website explains these signs and labels, outlines how businesses can become certified, and introduces the food sectors it represents. It also shares regional news and recipes, helping consumers discover Vendée’s culinary heritage and producers’ expertise.
