Vendée Cheval is an association dedicated to sharing equestrian arts and sport with audiences in the Vendée region of France. It organizes equestrian festivals featuring shows and other entertainment, bringing together horse enthusiasts and visitors for live experiences. The association’s events take place at venues including the Haras de la Vendée in La Roche-sur-Yon, where its festival programme has included performances over several days.
Vendée Cheval also promotes carriage driving through national competitions held annually in September at the Chevillonnière estate in Saint-Hilaire-le-Vouhis. These events showcase the skill, precision and sporting ability of drivers across three tests, in a setting open to spectators. In addition, the association organizes sales of leisure horses and ponies, including events at the Haras de la Vendée.
Through its festivals, competitions and horse sales, Vendée Cheval offers several ways to discover equestrian culture, whether as a spectator, participant or prospective owner. The association shares updates and images of its activities through its website and Facebook page.
