About VendRedu
VrijDag – VendRedu is an antiquarian bookshop, art gallery and curiosities shop in Redu, Belgium, known as the book village. Since May 2024, the business has welcomed visitors to its shop on Rue de Transinne, where they can browse a wide-ranging selection of rare and second-hand books in many languages, alongside artworks and unusual objects.
Its book collection spans literature, history, travel, children’s books, art, bookbinding, graphic techniques and non-fiction. The gallery offers paintings, prints and drawings, while the curiosities selection includes small objects, collectables and oddities. New arrivals are featured online, with individual listings that include both historic publications and more recent books.
Customers can order through the website, with shipping available to a number of countries, or choose to collect purchases at the shop. Visitors are also invited to explore the books, curiosities and gallery in person. The shop is usually open Tuesday to Sunday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
