VEHU, also known as the Venezuelan-Hungarian Association (Venezuelai-Magyar Egyesület), is a nonprofit civil association formed by Venezuelan and Venezuelan-Hungarian residents in Hungary. Our mission is to serve as a cultural and social bridge between our community and Hungarian society, driven by the values of excellence from both Venezuelan and Hungarian cultures.

Since 2012, we have been organizing various community activities that have strengthened the representation of Venezuela in Hungary. Our goals are twofold: to promote unity among Venezuelans in Hungary by building a strong and vibrant civic community, and to facilitate the faster and more efficient integration of Venezuelans and Venezuelan-Hungarians into Hungarian society. We firmly believe that "to be a good Hungarian, one must be a good Venezuelan."

To fulfill our mission and achieve our objectives, VEHU has a volunteer-based structure, including a board of directors and various areas dedicated to culture, social activities, recreation, and academia. We work tirelessly to create an active community that represents Venezuela in Hungary and fosters integration within Hungarian society.
