About Vemars
VeMarS, the Venice Maritime School, is a premier maritime training center established on October 6, 2004, and is recognized by the Command of the General Port Authorities and the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport. With a commitment to excellence, VeMarS has trained numerous maritime professionals, guiding them towards successful careers at sea. The center features advanced training facilities, including two Full Mission Bridge Simulators and multiple radar simulation stations, designed to elevate the proficiency of maritime operations.
VeMarS offers a wide range of specialized courses aimed at various roles within the maritime industry, including training for Ship Security Officers, Port Facility Security Officers, and skilled mariners. Their faculty consists of experienced professionals, including captains, engineers, and medical personnel, ensuring high-quality instruction.
Additionally, VeMarS is involved in post-diploma training programs in collaboration with the Academy of Logistics and the Sea of Venice, helping students achieve their Certificate of Competence (C.o.C.), a vital credential for maritime careers.
