Van Nieuwenhoven Genealogie is an online genealogy resource focused on the Van Nieuwenhoven family and the people connected with the Maatschappij van Weldadigheid. It brings together information about ancestors, descendants, and residents, helping visitors explore family histories and relationships across generations. The material is associated with Noordwolde in Friesland, Frederiksoord, and Leiden, offering useful place names for researchers tracing family connections in these areas.

The website provides a searchable database for looking up individuals by first name or surname. Visitors can choose between stricter and broader search methods and arrange results by first name or family name. Its emphasis is on genealogical information rather than commercial products or services; the principal offering is access to family-history records and related details about the people represented in the collection. The site also acknowledges sponsors and identifies VèNis as its designer. For descendants, family historians, and anyone researching residents of the Maatschappij van Weldadigheid, Van Nieuwenhoven Genealogie serves as a focused starting point for discovering and navigating historical family information.
