Venne Moaties is an agrarian childcare provider in the wooded surroundings of Dalfsen, Netherlands, offering children a welcoming blend of care, nature and education. Its services include daycare, after-school care for children aged 4 to 12, and flexible childcare arrangements. The daycare operates three groups, while after-school care includes transport to and from school and activities during school holidays. Children can also have breakfast at the centre between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m.
Based on a green pedagogical vision, Venne Moaties puts each child’s individuality, routines and pace at the heart of care. Children are encouraged to play outdoors, explore their surroundings and learn about farm life. They can observe cattle and seasonal farming, and help care for pigs, rabbits, chickens and runner ducks. The centre also grows fruit and vegetables that children can enjoy.
Venne Moaties aims to support healthy, natural development while valuing sustainable practices, including solar power, growing food and recycling. It is open Monday to Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
