Vento Norte is a Portuguese association founded on 13 February 1996 and based in Vila Nova de Famalicão. It brings people together through outdoor recreation, nature conservation, environmental education and cultural activities. Its programme includes mountaineering and walking, mountain biking and cycle touring, canoeing, nature-focused outings, photography and other cultural events.

The association organises activities in locations across Portugal, including camping meet-ups designed to welcome participants of different ages. Past events have included canoeing on the Ria de Aveiro and gatherings in the Gerês and Cabreira areas. Vento Norte also encourages members to discover Portugal’s natural heritage, including through an initiative to visit the country’s natural parks.
