Verak Private Wealth is an independent fiduciary wealth management firm serving successful professionals, executives, pre-retirees, retirees, and business owners in the Pittsburgh area. Founded by Josh after experience at a large institutional bank, the firm emphasizes personalized advice, direct client relationships, and coordinated planning across a family’s financial life.

Its services include equity compensation planning for restricted stock units, stock options, and employee stock purchase plans; tax strategy; investment management; retirement income planning; risk management; estate and legacy design; healthcare planning; and business owner planning. Verak connects decisions about compensation, taxes, investments, and retirement rather than treating them as separate concerns. The firm also uses specialized planning tools to support equity compensation decisions and tax-bracket management.

Verak is generally designed for individuals and families with at least $1 million in investable assets, or a clear path toward that level. The firm offers an introductory conversation to explore whether its approach is a good fit.
