Verbeek Glass

Verbeek Glass Studio is a Toronto studio offering hands-on fused glass workshops for individuals, families, teams and other groups. Classes welcome beginners, with no experience or artistic confidence required—just curiosity. The studio provides glass and tools, and instructors guide participants in learning about glass fusing, safely cutting and shaping glass, and designing and assembling a project using more than 50 colours. The studio then fires and finishes each piece, usually ready for collection in about a week.

Workshop projects include a mosaic panel, a colour bowl and Light Bar experiences exploring glass and light. Sessions are listed for ages 10 and up and last about two and a half to three hours, with prices varying by project. Verbeek Glass Studio also offers group and team bookings, family workshops, gift certificates and a gift shop. Located on Carlaw Avenue in Toronto, the studio is open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., or by appointment.
