About Verb Theatre
Verb Theatre is a cutting-edge brand that aims to provide audiences with theatrical experiences that explore groundbreaking ideas in innovative and surprising ways. With a mission to shape tomorrow's theatre, they engage in conversations and employ theatrical forms that are deemed significant to their audiences in the future. Founded in 2008 by Artistic Director Jamie Dunsdon, Verb Theatre expanded its creative team with the addition of Artistic Associates Col Cseke and Jessica Robertshaw in 2009.
The brand's commitment to artistic excellence led them to become a not-for-profit society in May 2009. Over the years, Verb Theatre has produced a diverse range of productions, including plays like "Bliss," "The Wolves," and "Blackbird. " Led by incoming Artistic Director Kathryn Smith, the brand values high-quality indie theatre, ensemble dynamics, and ecological considerations.
