Veritas BJJ

Veritas Jiu Jitsu is a veteran-owned, family-operated Brazilian Jiu Jitsu academy serving the Edmond, Oklahoma community. Since opening in July 2024, the school has grown around a welcoming, supportive culture that values personal progress, fitness, self-defense, competition, and camaraderie. Its curriculum-based instruction is led by a team with varied backgrounds and experience, and classes are designed for beginners as well as more experienced students.

Programs include Jiu Jitsu for children ages 3–7, youth ages 7–13, and adults from age 13, along with kids’ and adults’ striking classes. Children’s training emphasizes comfort on the mats, focus, discipline, respect, integrity, confidence, and bullying prevention. Adult students can also join fundamental classes to develop core skills, or attend Drill Lab for focused practice without sparring and a dedicated leg-lock class. The academy supports students pursuing competition, including its striking fight team, and offers a free trial week. Veritas also hosts community events and provides discounts and events for veterans and first responders.
