TVCO Tubbergen

The Twentse Verlichte Carnavalsoptocht Tubbergen is an annual carnival event organized by TVCO in the town of Tubbergen, in the Twente region of the Netherlands. Held after dark, the parade brings illuminated floats and walking groups through the streets, accompanied by music and watched by thousands of enthusiastic visitors. Now an established part of Twente’s carnival tradition, the event combines creative displays, community participation and festive spectacle.

TVCO coordinates the parade and works with participants, sponsors and volunteers to make each edition possible. The organization also shares information for visitors and participants, including the parade route, starting order and results. Its website features news and event updates, along with photographs and videos from past celebrations. Parade entries include large and small floats as well as walking groups, with results published after the event. TVCO recognizes the contributions of its supporters and volunteers, including through sponsor and volunteer gatherings. With more than two decades of editions celebrated, the illuminated parade remains a prominent annual occasion for carnival in Tubbergen and the wider Twente area.
