Founded by Don Vernon Yeier in 1958, the company’s history is closely tied to Chester Brandon, who invented the Brandon lens design. Don acquired the designs in 1966 and produced Brandon eyepieces and optical accessories in Candor, New York. Following his retirement and the company’s sale in 2013, Brandon products continued to be made in the USA using the established manufacturing processes.
