**Days of Poetry and Wine** is a celebrated international poetry festival held annually in Ptuj, Slovenia, uniting the worlds of poetry and enology for over twenty-seven years. This distinctive festival takes place during the last warm days of August, showcasing more than twenty poets from various countries alongside esteemed local winemakers. Noteworthy past participants include acclaimed figures such as C. D. Wright and Lars Gustafsson, among many others, illustrating the festival's global reach and artistic diversity.

Beyond poetry, the festival features a carefully curated program that includes music, visual arts, photography, film, and more, catering to attendees of all ages. Every year, around 60 events take place, all free of admission, welcoming over 5,000 visitors. Being part of the European poetry platform Versopolis since 2014, the festival continues to foster new projects and collaborations, enriching cultural dialogues and celebrating the art of poetry in a picturesque wine-growing region.
