VertiLink Advanced Air Mobility Group

VertiLink is a New Zealand organisation developing infrastructure for Advanced Air Mobility, with the goal of connecting communities through a network of vertiports for electric aircraft and drones. Rather than building aircraft, it focuses on the landing sites, partnerships and policy frameworks needed to make this emerging transport system practical. Its current work supports drone deliveries of medical supplies, equipment and essential goods to remote communities, while planning for future routes that could carry people and freight using electric air taxis and cargo aircraft.

VertiLink works with iwi and hapū, communities, government, regulators, industry, research organisations and other stakeholders to shape solutions suited to Aotearoa. Its mission is to develop safe, future-ready air mobility infrastructure that can improve healthcare access, strengthen regional opportunity and create lasting benefits. The organisation emphasises community partnership, co-discovery, responsible stewardship, purposeful innovation, integrity and leadership. Through this collaborative approach, VertiLink aims to align new transport systems with local interests and support the wellbeing of communities and the places they value.
