Veszprém Állatvédő

Állatvédő Egyesület Veszprém and Otthont az Állatoknak Alapítvány are two animal welfare organizations in Veszprém that work together toward shared animal protection goals. Their roles are distinct: the Association operates the animal shelter, cares for the animals in its charge, and seeks safe, lasting homes for them. The Foundation is building a new shelter, which the Association will operate, and promotes responsible pet ownership through education, animal welfare initiatives, and programs, including sterilization campaigns.

The organizations help visitors connect with adoptable dogs and cats and encourage people to give animals a second chance through adoption. Volunteers can visit the shelter to help care for the animals, walk dogs, and support their socialization while they await homes. The website also promotes free dog-training sessions in Veszprém, with several dates and locations announced for March and April 2026. Supporters can find ways to contribute to the Association and the Foundation, whether through donations, volunteering, adoption, or participation in the organizations’ educational and animal welfare activities.
