The Veterinary Cancer Society (VCS) is a non-profit educational organization dedicated specifically to veterinary oncology. With a membership of nearly 1,300 specialists in medical, surgical, and radiation oncology, as well as internists, pathologists, pharmacologists, and general practitioners from around the world, VCS is a community of professionals, students, residents, interns, and technicians passionate about understanding, preventing, and treating cancer in animals. VCS aims to enhance the practice of veterinary oncology by providing educational opportunities and fostering scientific and professional interactions.

The society organizes one of the largest veterinary oncology meetings, the Annual Conference, every fall. This event brings together the brightest veterinary oncology specialists to share groundbreaking information obtained through research in the ongoing fight against cancer. Additionally, VCS coordinates a Mid-Year conference every other year and collaborates with other veterinary oncology associations worldwide to organize a World Congress every four years.
