Veterans Lake Fishing is a 501(c)(3) veterans’ charity founded in 2020 to help veterans and first responders spend restorative time outdoors with their families. The organization creates opportunities to fish, relax, and reconnect through the use of kayaks, bass boats, and pontoon boats. Its events and programs are designed to support veterans’ well-being by encouraging communication, friendship, and family connection in a peaceful lake setting.
Veterans Lake Fishing aims to help participants manage stressful periods and build lasting experiences with their loved ones. Fishing together can also strengthen social support within families and the wider community. The organization develops its activities with input from veterans and their families, seeking to make positive changes for participants and their communities. By combining time on the water with conversation and shared outdoor experiences, Veterans Lake Fishing offers a welcoming way for veterans and their families to enjoy nature, nurture relationships, and grow a supportive network. The charity also invites supporters to contribute through PayPal.
