VS4Life is a small nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness of veteran suicide and helping bring the number of deaths to zero. Founded by Jim Osterman in 2018, the organization seeks to support veterans facing depression, post-traumatic stress disorder and other mental health challenges through shared experiences, community and adventure.

Its central activity is tandem skydiving, offering veterans an exhilarating experience intended to encourage resilience, hope and connection. VS4Life also emphasizes camaraderie, bringing participants together to share stories and support one another beyond the jump. The organization is exploring additional activities, including scuba diving, snowmobiling and snowboarding, as ways to help veterans find opportunities for engagement and enjoyment after military service.

VS4Life welcomes veterans, supporters and others who believe in its mission to get involved. The organization identifies donations, volunteering and spreading awareness as ways to contribute.
