Vetje

Vetje is a sport-fishing charter operating from IJmuiden, offering year-round trips into the North Sea. The main fishing options include wreck fishing, anchoring trips and seasonal mackerel fishing. Wreck trips visit underwater wrecks where anglers may catch cod, pouting, pollack and other species. Mackerel trips run from mid-May to the end of September, when the crew searches for shoals. On anchored trips, guests can fish for flatfish such as dab, flounder and plaice, as well as whiting. Vetje also lists sole fishing, combination trips and ash scattering among its services.

Trips take place aboard the Waypoint 34, a 10.92-metre boat with space for up to 11 passengers. Onboard facilities include a toilet and a heated cabin, while fishing is possible from several areas of the boat.
