VetLocum

VetLocum is an Ontario veterinary staffing service that connects veterinary practices with locum veterinarians available to support their staffing needs. The company was created in response to a shortage of skilled veterinary professionals affecting practices across Ontario and the resulting challenges of meeting client expectations. Its approach centers on a network of Ontario-based locum veterinarians who can be dispatched upon request.

For veterinarians, VetLocum offers an opportunity to choose when, where, and how much they work, with a pathway to join the network as a locum. For practice owners, the service helps identify and book a veterinarian suited to their specific requirements. Locum coverage can help practices manage an absence or vacancy, provide support while owners take leave or vacation, or assist organizations seeking to accelerate their growth. By bringing practices and veterinarians together, VetLocum aims to provide practical staffing support and help veterinary teams respond to changing operational needs. The company also provides contact information and a privacy policy through its website.
