Vette City Roller Derby

Vette City Roller Derby (VCRD) is a roller derby league based in Bowling Green, Kentucky, bringing together skaters who share a passion for competition and the sport’s distinctive culture. Founded in 2009, the adult league delivers full-contact, all-skate action, with bouts showcasing speed, skill, teamwork, and hard-hitting play. Its skaters come from varied backgrounds, including students, professionals, and stay-at-home caregivers.

The organization also supports the next generation of skaters through Vette City Junior Roller Derby (VCJRD), formed in August 2022. The junior program trains skaters aged 17 and under in a safe, encouraging environment focused on building skills, teamwork, and game play. VCRD welcomes people interested in learning more about joining either the adult or junior league through dedicated interest forms.

The website shares galleries and favorite video clips, helping visitors experience the leagues and their activities. Vette City Roller Derby also invites community support through donations and recognition of its sponsors, encouraging local supporters to help keep roller derby rolling.
