VFAC

Vancouver Falcons Athletic Club (VFAC) is a friendly, competitive running club for senior and masters athletes based in Vancouver, British Columbia. The club provides a supportive yet challenging environment, with coached group workouts at the centre of its activities. Members train twice a week, on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings, and can take part in regular post-workout social gatherings. VFAC encourages runners to represent the club in local and regional road, track, cross-country, and trail races, and shares club rankings, records, training information, and event updates.

The club also organizes the Summerfast 10km Road Race and the VFAC Track Series, and hosts other track and field events. Prospective members can attend two free trial workouts before deciding whether to join. Participants need basic annual insurance coverage through BC Athletics, which the club notes costs $15; interested runners can contact Coach Kevin O’Connor to arrange trial dates and insurance. VFAC maintains an online presence through its website and social media, where members and supporters can follow club news, race results, training activities, and community events.
