VfL Oythe

VfL Oythe 1947 e.V. is a community sports club based in Vechta, Lower Saxony, bringing people together through sport and shared activities since 1947. With more than 1,500 members, the club describes itself as a family and offers a broad range of programs for different ages and skill levels. Its sports include football, volleyball, gymnastics, general fitness, dance, Zumba and indoor cycling, alongside dedicated health-sport activities.

Football programs serve men, women and junior players, while volleyball includes women’s teams, junior girls, a recreational group and beach volleyball. Members and visitors can also find information about training, sports facilities, club membership and contacts for the various sections. The club shares news, announcements and stories about its activities, and connects its community through social media, a magazine and the 47 podcast. It also highlights its partners and invites organisations to work with the club. Based in Vechta, VfL Oythe combines competitive teams, recreational sport and community involvement under the motto “#gemeinsamstark” (“strong together”).
