VFL Kurpfalz

VfL Kurpfalz Neckarau is a community sports club serving Mannheim-Neckarau, bringing people together through football, tennis and recreational sport. The club traces its tradition to 1884 and presents itself as a home for athletes of all ages and abilities, with a particular focus on helping children develop confidence, teamwork and discipline through sport.

Its football programme includes senior teams and extensive youth provision, from under-6 Bambini groups through junior teams up to U-19, as well as opportunities to enquire about trial training. Tennis welcomes women, men, young players and mixed groups, with court bookings available online. The broader sports programme includes fitness and wellness activities such as Barre and Toning, Qi Gong, yoga, Zumba, back exercises and rehabilitation courses for people with Parkinson’s, alongside boules.

Based in Mannheim’s southern district, the club also offers community facilities and opportunities to support its teams through regional sponsorship. Members and visitors can follow club news, reserve courts and boules facilities, and take part in events such as the Neckarau youth tournament.
