Viridiane's Hope

Viridiane’s Hope for Children’s Health and Education (VHCHE) is a Virginia 501(c)(3) nonprofit and a Catholic Charity of the Arlington Diocese. Its mission is to improve the physical and emotional health and education of children in underserved communities around the world. The organization works to help children and families gain better access to essential health and educational opportunities, guided by the belief that these are fundamental rights.

VHCHE’s initiatives include its Ambassador Program and Disaster Relief Outreach, alongside youth engagement activities such as a Youth Advisory Council, a swim-a-thon fundraiser, and a T-shirt design contest. Its projects also address community needs directly. In Cameroon, Viridiane’s Hope is launching its tenth drinking-water well project and remodeling a grotto chapel. The effort aims to bring clean water, dignity, and a place of prayer to approximately 4,000 children and villagers. Through its programs, fundraising, and community projects, VHCHE invites supporters to help create safer, healthier opportunities for children and the communities around them.
