About VHP America
The World Hindu Council of America (VHPA) is a non-profit and tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to promoting and preserving Hindu culture, traditions, and values in America. With a vision to strengthen the Hindu community and foster harmony, VHPA offers a range of initiatives, seva programs, and projects. VHPA's initiatives include the Bal Vihar Network (BVN), a platform for youth activities such as camps, conferences, and youth conferences.
They also offer the Coalition of Hindu Youth (CHY) and youth books for educational purposes. In addition, VHPA provides publications on Hindu Dharma, addressing essential topics and issues. They offer reference reading materials as well as helpline and counseling services for those in need.
Led by a dedicated team, including the VHPA Advisory Board, Executive Board, and Governing Council, VHPA has a rich history and numerous milestones.
