VHT Akademie

VHT Akademie is a Czech mountain and outdoor education organization led by mountain guide and climbing instructor Tomáš Kadlec. Its team combines qualified guides and climbing instructors with a community-minded approach, treating time outdoors as more than a test of fitness. The academy emphasizes safety, respect for nature, attentive guiding, sustainability, and the personal experiences people gain along the way.

Its activities include courses for aspiring mountain guides and climbing instructors, indoor and outdoor climbing courses, and guided treks and high-mountain tours. Participants can also join via ferrata trips, ski touring and snowshoe outings, winter camps, and journeys focused on mindful travel, pilgrimage, and personal development. The academy creates its own routes, often drawing inspiration from established long-distance trails, and generally keeps trekking groups small to support individual attention and a relaxed atmosphere.
