About Vision Ireland
Vision Ireland, part of the NCBI Group, aims to empower individuals who are blind or vision impaired by providing a wide range of services and resources. Our Orientation and Mobility Solutions for adults are tailored to enhance independence and safety. We offer various mobility aids, including unaided mobility, symbol canes, long canes, and guide dogs, in addition to comprehensive training to ensure proper usage.
Our support extends beyond mobility, encompassing falls prevention and everyday living skills. We also provide a diverse range of services for children, young people, and recently diagnosed individuals, including educational support, technology assistance, and recreational activities. Furthermore, we actively engage in policy advocacy and fundraising efforts to promote awareness and support for the visually impaired community.
