About VIACírculoJefferson
VIA Círculo Jefferson is the Spanish network of alumni from the prestigious International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), sponsored by the U. S. Department of State.
Comprised of former participants of the IVLP program, VIA Círculo Jefferson supports numerous alumni from exchange programs across Spain. Its members come from all autonomous communities of Spain, representing a diverse range of professions, ideologies, and backgrounds, encompassing the entire spectrum of Spanish society. Journalists, lawmakers, public administrators, academics, educators, politicians, judges, prosecutors, magistrates, and professionals in the fields of culture and arts are among its members.
The IVLP is the Department of State's premier professional exchange program. It provides current and emerging foreign leaders in various fields with firsthand experience of the United States, fostering lasting relationships with their American counterparts.
