The Vietnam Institute for Advanced Study in Mathematics (VIASM) is a Vietnamese institute dedicated to advancing mathematical research, education, and collaboration. Based in Hanoi, it brings together researchers, visiting scholars, long-term collaborators, and academic partners through scientific programs and events. Its activities include seminars, conferences, workshops, short courses, summer schools, and research initiatives covering mathematics and related fields.

VIASM also supports education through programs for talented students, teacher and student development, and its Center for Teaching and Learning Innovation. Its research partnerships include the ACR Lab, a joint initiative with the Vietnam Government Information Security Commission, and programs in areas such as post-quantum cryptography and mathematical biology. For the academic community, the institute provides a library, research and office support, and access to facilities and equipment.

Its publishing resources include lecture notes, short textbooks, preprints, research publications, annual reports, and the VIASM book collection. Through these services and activities, VIASM fosters mathematical scholarship and helps connect Vietnam’s mathematics community with international researchers and institutions
