Viborg Akvarieforening

Viborg Akvarieforening is an aquarium hobby association founded in 1969 and affiliated with Dansk Akvarie Union, a network of Danish aquarium clubs that work together to provide members with knowledge and information about the aquarium hobby. The association holds member meetings on the third Thursday of each month, with a summer break in July. Its calendar shares information about meetings and other activities, including the Viborg Exotic Fair.

The website also provides news from the association, practical information for members, and downloads. Visitors can find details about membership, sponsors, galleries, and the association’s events, while exhibitors can access information and registration for the 2026 Viborg Exotic Fair. The site also highlights @quarium, a free weekly PDF publication featuring articles and current knowledge from the aquarium world, published by Foreningen @quarium.

Through its regular meetings, events, resources, and connection to the national union, Viborg Akvarieforening supports people interested in aquariums and helps them engage with the hobby in the Viborg area
