The Victoria Falls Marathon is an annual running event organised by Wild Frontiers Events, bringing athletes and visitors together in one of Africa’s most iconic destinations. Promoted as a race that combines world-class running with remarkable scenery, it offers participants an opportunity to run, explore and celebrate amid the landscapes around Victoria Falls. The event includes full marathon, half marathon and fun run categories, and is an official Comrades Marathon qualifying race.

The 2027 edition is scheduled for Sunday, 4 July, and marks the marathon’s 19th anniversary. The organisation provides race information, entry details and conditions, route maps and start times, results, completion certificates, prize money information, news and event images. It also shares details about its history, charities, corporate social responsibility and crew.

For travellers planning to take part, the website promotes travel packages through Wild Frontiers, with a package option that guarantees a race entry. Runners can subscribe to the newsletter for event announcements and updates, while the organisers provide contact support by phone and email
