The Greater Victoria Chamber of Commerce works with its members to build good business and great community for all. Funded by businesses to support business, The Chamber serves as the region’s hub for communication, collaboration, and connection. As the second-largest chamber in B.C. and the largest business association in Greater Victoria, we represent more than 1,400 organizations across the private, non-profit, and public sectors. For more than 160 years, The Chamber has supported regional prosperity through advocacy, networking, professional development, and programming, and has helped launch key organizations such as the South Island Film Commission, VIATEC, South Island Prosperity Partnership, Destination Greater Victoria, and the Flower Count. Today, our efforts continue through a wide range of initiatives, including: • Advocating for business at municipal, provincial, and federal levels • Hosting networking events that bring together more than 6,000 people annually • Providing mentorship and professional development opportunities • Delivering programs that support business growth and community well-being • Strengthening local economic resilience through thoughtful policy work • Elevating member visibility through strategic marketing and storytelling • Building partnerships with government, education, and community organizations • Offering exclusive member benefits, cost-saving programs, and expert resources • Recognizing business excellence through signature events and awards • Advancing inclusive and sustainable economic development across the region • Creating space for meaningful dialogue through roundtables and sector engagement The Chamber is guided by a 14-member Board of Directors and supported by a dedicated team of staff, co-op students, and seasonal roles. Chamber membership is a professional investment that pays off, providing advocacy, resources, connections, and a network that opens doors and supports business and community growth.

Victoria Chamber is a modern organization that has been serving the Greater Victoria community for over 160 years. As one of the five largest chambers in the Province, the Chamber represents the interests of small, medium, and large businesses across all sectors, as well as members from the not-for-profit sector. With a diverse membership of about 1,400 businesses, the Chamber strives to build good business and great community for all.
