Vidara is a video-hosting and file-sharing service that lets users upload, store, stream, and share videos, with opportunities to earn money from hosted content. The platform offers unlimited storage and says files are kept on secure servers, while video playback is available without bandwidth or speed limits. Its features include fast video encoding, viewing statistics to help users understand where their audiences come from, subtitle support, multiple audio tracks, and custom advertising options.

Users can upload popular video formats, including MP4, MKV, AVI, WMV, MOV, WebM, FLV, and several others. Vidara also states that inactive files are not removed and that views are counted up to four times within 24 hours for each user or IP address. The service provides free uploading, alongside a Premium offering, and invites users to sign up to host and share their content. Support and contact information, terms of service, privacy details, copyright policies, and API access are also listed on the site.
