Vidya Shakti is an education initiative focused on making quality learning accessible to underprivileged students. Guided by the belief that education should reach children wherever they are, it offers free live online classes and a library of recorded lessons, supported by rural interaction centres. The programme serves students across multiple states in India and Sri Lanka, with courses covering school grades from primary through higher secondary in selected regions.

Classes are interactive, include opportunities to ask questions and receive feedback, and are taught in students’ mother tongues to support learning across language backgrounds. Lessons use real-life examples, short animated explanations and physical models to make concepts easier to understand. Vidya Shakti also provides access to experienced teachers, recorded videos, courses and a youth platform connecting learners with mentors. Its offerings include teacher upskilling and educational resources, while its website shares student testimonials, programme updates and information about its work. By combining technology, local learning centres and teacher support, Vidya Shakti aims to help students build understanding, improve academic performance and pursue further opportunities.
