About Vie Publique SN
Vie-Publique.sn is a civic platform dedicated to promoting transparency and accessibility of public information in Senegal. Launched on May 1, 2024, it serves as a participatory and open-source hub that provides citizens with easy access to vital government information, including audit reports, budgets, official journals, laws, and regulations. The platform aims to enhance civic engagement and accountability by consolidating important information in one accessible location, fostering a more informed public.
In addition to its information repository, Vie-Publique.sn encourages community involvement in its development. Users with skills in web development, data analysis, or those eager to contribute ideas or report issues can engage via email or GitHub. The team comprises diverse professionals, including IT engineers, finance experts, and public administration scholars, all working together to ensure the platform serves the interests of Senegalese citizens. With ongoing projects like an electoral directory and legal archives, Vie-Publique.sn strives to build a more engaged and knowledgeable society.
