Vielo is a pioneering British bike brand founded in 2017 by Ian and Trevor Hughes, who sought to create high-performance bicycles designed specifically for the challenging conditions of UK roads. Drawing on over 36 years of combined experience in the bike industry, they established Vielo to deliver a selection of meticulously crafted, in-house bikes that prioritize engineering excellence over marketing gimmicks. The product range includes models like the R+1 Road, V+1 Gravel, and V+1 Race, each designed with a focus on adaptability and performance.
Vielo’s bikes feature innovative design elements, emphasizing clean aesthetics and technical advancements, such as the benefits of the 1x drivetrain system over traditional configurations. At Vielo, a close-knit team collaborates to ensure each bike not only stands out visually but also stands strong against the elements. With a commitment to quality and a passion for cycling, Vielo invites enthusiasts to join a community that values substance over style, making it a true gem in the bicycle industry
