Established in 2005, Vienna Art Week is a premier cultural festival held annually in November, showcasing the city's diverse art scene and attracting around 30,000 visitors each year. With collaboration from approximately 70 program partners, this vibrant festival offers an extensive lineup of over 100 free events, including guided tours, open studio days, expert panels, performances, workshops, and exhibitions, encompassing art from contemporary to Baroque.
The Vienna Art Week serves not only as a celebration of the arts but also as a collaborative platform uniting key institutions, galleries, independent art spaces, and artist associations in Vienna. This unique initiative is supported by the Art Cluster Vienna, which comprises notable institutions like the Belvedere, Kunsthistorisches Museum, and mumok, among others.
