KOMiT

KOMiT is a member-owned cooperative that develops software and services for independent schools, boarding schools, folk high schools and congregations. Founded in 1985 and rooted in the independent-school community, it works to make everyday administration easier through practical, flexible tools shaped with input from users. More than 500 schools and congregations use KOMiT systems for administration and communication.

KOMiT Administration brings key operational tasks together in one system, with flexible modules for student administration, school finances, payroll, government reporting, electives, class and group setup, and grading. Its ViGGO platform supports communication and collaboration in independent schools, boarding schools and folk high schools, bringing together information such as timetables, working hours, homework, rooms and attendance for students, parents and staff.

Beyond its software, KOMiT provides user support, consultancy, professional guidance and training through in-person and digital courses. The cooperative offers free online demonstrations to help organisations explore suitable solutions. Its development team works continuously with members to improve the systems, guided by a focus on solidarity, reliable operations and serving users rather than maximising profit.
