Swiss E Vignette is the official platform for purchasing the digital vignette required for traveling in Switzerland. With the Swiss E Vignette, you can conveniently link the vignette to your license plate instead of the vehicle. By purchasing the vignette through their portal, you can avoid waiting times at gas stations.

The cost of the vignette varies depending on your vehicle and the duration of your stay in Switzerland. For instance, a car or camper van vignette costs CHF 40 and is valid from 1 December of the previous year to 31 January of the following year. It's important to display a valid vignette, as failure to do so can result in hefty fines.

While some toll-free scenic drives like the famous Susten Pass exist in Switzerland, purchasing a vignette contributes to the maintenance and development of the country's road network, ensuring safe and efficient travel for both locals and tourists alike. In addition to buying the Swiss E Vignette, you can also find useful information about the road network in Switzerland, tunnels, and guides on the Vignetteswitzerland. com website.
