Vildaparken is a volunteer-run outdoor recreation park beside Väse, between Karlstad and Kristinehamn in Sweden. Open to the public around the clock throughout the year, it brings together sports, play and nature in a welcoming setting for visitors of different ages. Its facilities include a roughly 750-square-metre skatepark with bowl and street/flow sections, a mountain-bike downhill course, an 80-metre BMX pump track and a low-ropes course featuring platforms, climbing and a zipline.
Visitors can also use several walking and exercise trails, including a lit 2. 5-kilometre loop; in winter, Väse Ski Club prepares ski tracks, and a hill becomes a sledding slope. The park also offers picnic tables, toilets, barbecue areas, a grill hut and parking.
Geocaching adds another activity for families and explorers. Vildaparken is maintained through voluntary efforts by Väse Framtid and Föreningen Vildaparken. Activities are undertaken at visitors’ own risk, and the park encourages considerate conduct, care for the natural surroundings and appropriate safety precautions
