Vilgertshof

Vilgertshof provides day activities, employment preparation and tailored support for people with disabilities or additional support needs. Based in Velden, the organization welcomes visitors at two locations, Vilgertshof and De Weerd, where a team of committed, knowledgeable staff helps each person find meaningful ways to spend their day, discover their strengths and develop their talents.

At Vilgertshof, activities include gardening and groundskeeping, caring for animals, and completing work and production tasks for local businesses. De Weerd focuses on hospitality, with visitors baking, cooking and preparing sharing platters, alongside work assignments for companies. Across both locations, the program combines practical activities, learning, development and opportunities to participate. Some visitors can also take part in employment preparation, using focused tasks to build readiness for regular work in the green sector or hospitality.

Vilgertshof works with care providers and other partners to coordinate support. The organization invites prospective visitors to learn more, arrange a meeting or tour, and explore whether its approach and locations are a good fit.
