Villa Lef

Kinderpraktijk Villa Lef is a child and family practice in Abcoude, led by Mariëlle, an integrative child coach and counselor, parent guide, and specialist in high sensitivity and strong-willed children. The practice supports children aged 6 to 12 and their parents when a child feels unhappy, anxious, shy, or angry, or when family life has become tense and difficult to manage. Its goal is to help children and parents regain a sense of control, build confidence, and feel stronger and happier.

Villa Lef’s approach is personal and integrative, based on the belief that children have inner knowledge and the capacity to find solutions that suit them. Mariëlle offers loving, tailored guidance, helping each child understand their feelings and develop ways to help themselves. Sessions may include imaginative play, crafts, drawing, board games, role-play, and conversation. The practice also provides parent guidance, helping caregivers better understand what is happening for their child and support positive change at home. Empathy, connection, and humor are central to the work.
